Sustainability

Sustainability has become a very significant issue for us at Marlborough Primary School. We are helping our children to learn and understand our impact on the planet and aim to be models of good practice demonstrating sustainable living and working. At Marlborough Primary School we are all working hard towards the government 2030 target of becoming a sustainable school through our curriculum topics, focus days and competitions.

Creating a sustainable world is a key responsibility for

all of us and everyone has to play their part in making it a reality.

Each of our curriculum topics have a link to sustainable goals. At Marlborough Primary School, we will discuss the goals during our curriculum lessons and help the world meet these goals because we are a team!

Each class has each agreed and written a pledge about what they will do to achieve one of the global goals during this academic year. These are displayed on our classroom doors.
